I cannot get the slide back far enough to lock it and turn the take down pin from 3:00 to 6:00. The take down pin is fully inserted and in the correct position. I also cannot insert a magazine. I dropped out the magazine, racked the slide back to show an empty chamber and to lock the slide back, then swung the take down lever to 6 o clock.

The lever will pop right into the grip or FCU and turn easily but when the grip and FCU are combined I get more resistance on the takedown lever than I would expect. It's hard for me to say because this is my first p320. Mine's new and super hard too. Scratched the crap out of the plastic frame while pressing it.

Flip up the slide lock and try to man-handle it off by moving it back and forth until it gives, just be careful not to bend it sideways. Feb 2, 2023. #4. I have both the P320 XTEN and the P320 in 9mm, with 40 S&W upper, & 357 Sig conversion barrel for the 40 upper. I can guarantee you that the FCU’s in these two firearms are not the same. The 10mm FCU can also be used with 45ACP, but nothing else. 9mm FCU’s are also good for 40 S&W and 357 Sig, but not with any other calibers.The mag is out and the slide is locked back but the damn takedown lever will not go to 6 o'clock position no matter how hard I force it. My thumb is bleeding at this point lol. Might not be the same, but for a while the 320s needed to push the barrel down or back slightly to allow the lever to drop.
