Buy a standard P365, and the SAS slide. This lets you try the sights without committing to the gun, should you not like them. As with Paul' above ^^^, it's a whole lot simpler to buy or sell the slide than a whole gun. BTW, the SAS slide has run fine on two P365s; SIG must hold tight tolerances. I carry strong side IWB and the P365 with the flat base magazine is much easier to conceal than the P365 XL because of the height differential. The P365 is also more convenient to carry because the shorter slide and the 10 versus 12 round magazine make the gun lighter.

The XL is a belt carry gun while the P365 has a bit more versatility with concealment due to its size. I've owned both at the same time and ended up getting rid of the XL. I like how the P365 rides and there's a bit of sentimental value attached to the P365.

BTW - it's reported the P365 have had a tendency to increase it's trigger pull over the last 4 years of manufacture. Initial reports were of pulls as low as 5 and fractions of a pound, now it's over 6+. I'm not carrying a trigger pull scale to check what's in the box before I leave the store but it's not a bad idea.
