This logic will never get WiFi 7 devices. Something has to come first. Your logic doesn't make sense, the UniFi U7 Pro is coming soon.. and rumour is not until iPhone 17 will Apple support wifi 7. Ubiquiti clearly didn't wait for the mainstream devices to be here to release their AP.

This is the one I got for my purposes. Had 8 ports, POE for my AC-Lite, and most importantly 2 SFP+ ports which I needed for 10g uplink to my UDM Pro SE and to my 10g NIC on my server. The cheapest Unifi 8 port switch with SFP+ is $350.

The unifi cams are well built but expensive for what you get. Also, when using RTSP for BI, the settings/customization are pretty lacking compared to most other cameras (clearly, their primary focus is on the unifi ecosystem, not 3rd party integration). The U6-Lite is an AX1500 class AP, with an 802.11n-era 2.4 GHz radio and a 5 GHz radio that tops out at 80 MHz channel width. The U6-Lite doesn't support 160 MHz channels, unlike the U6-LR, Pro, and Mesh. With a DreamMachine and u6 Pro mounted inside with a mini PC. Cut holes in the side or bottom of the box frame allowing for access to switch ports. (A real pro mounts a patch panel into the box and pre wires the DM to it) The network runs from the DM and everything is exactly like a normal unifi setup except it is mounted on the wall and you ... If you ssh to certain types of equipment you will be able to run something like iPerf3. This will allow you to test internal speeds to a degree. Speedtests should be used to gauge a rough estimate of network performance. The unifi speedtest is testing the WAN only.I'm guessing it depends on how strong your connection speed is when remotely viewing. It should also be noted that in the app you can't setup custom live camera views (you can in the browser, however). Lastly, the G4 Pro cameras seem pretty expensive to cameras of similar specs.
